Credit Usage Policy

VideoPilotAI uses a transparent credit model so creators understand cost before AI actions run.

Structured policy draft for product launch readiness. Final wording requires legal counsel review before production release.

Transparency principle

Credit costs are intended to be visible before execution, with no hidden deductions for completed actions. Operational actions such as channel connection, sync, navigation, filtering, and settings management are intended to remain free.

What Credits Are

Credits are the platform unit used to execute AI-assisted actions across ideation, generation, analysis, optimization, and packaging workflows.

When Credits Are Consumed

Credits are consumed when a paid provider-cost action is confirmed and processed. Actions that run without meaningful provider cost remain free. Actions that do not complete successfully should be governed by the platform's billing/credit handling rules and any applicable remediation logic.

Estimated Pricing Visibility

Workflow interfaces are designed to show estimated credit cost before execution. Medium and high-cost actions may prompt additional confirmation to support deliberate usage.

No Hidden Usage Principle

VideoPilotAI policy intent is to prevent hidden or surprise credit deductions. Users should be able to trace usage through in-product logs and billing history surfaces.

Top-Up Logic

  • Top-ups are optional add-on purchases intended to avoid workflow interruption.
  • Top-ups supplement current plan allocation and do not automatically replace your active plan.
  • Low-balance warning states should appear before expensive actions where feasible.

Non-Refundable Language

Legal placeholder required

Insert counsel-reviewed language describing whether top-ups and/or consumed credits are non-refundable, including any mandatory exceptions required by law.

Fair Use

Fair use placeholder

Add legal and product-approved fair-use terms covering abuse prevention, automation misuse, and anti-fraud controls.
